This fun looking plant holds the record for the longest bloom of any flowering plant! In fact, given the right conditions, it would bloom year round. This stunner can be perfect as a stand alone center piece, or a bold contrast in an arrangement.
Light- This anthurium will live just fine in lower light conditions, but if you want it to bloom it must be in brighter light. Within a few feet from an East or West facing window would be ideal-or even several feet from a south facing window.
Water- Anthurium don't like to dry out, but they don't want their soil to be soggy, either. I let the soil dry out about a knuckle deep, then water thoroughly. They also appreciate a nice soil misting when you remember to.
Temperature- These guys are tropical, so they don't like to be cold! Keep them away from drafty windows and cool vents.
Fertilizing- They don't care much for fertilizer, but if you want them to flower more you can fertilize with an all purpose liquid fertilizer as directed on the bottle.
